Sweater Thieves
Welcome to my BLOG. I post my weekly comic strips here and other articles about comics and cartooning, mostly. There's some miscellaneous pictures in the earlier posts. My "business card" website is RELIABLECOMICS.COM. I also operate GLUYASWILLIAMS.COM. Look around.

Another new drawing
Here's something from the new comic I'm working on called Sorry, as mentioned in the previous post. It's just eight pages, and about all of them look like this.

NEW COMICS COVERS
Here are photoshop dummies of the covers of my two new mini comic books. I haven't actually printed them yet, so the actual product may look different, but if I have any luck they'll look the same.

Reliable Comics, 7.75 x 6.5, 32pp, $3   preview panels

Vice-President, Shipping and Distribution, Office Machines Company
OR (help me decide!)
Sad Old Man Picaresque Stickman Adventure Comic #1, 5 x 4.5, 16pp, $2
I just noticed the the guys on both covers are wearing the same clothes! I hope these comics don't put people to sleep...
I'll have these at SPX along with the also new Sorry! and Daredevil Pilot Jeff if it all goes according to plan. I also want to do a new Gocco print with art from Vice-President but getting that done remains to be seen...

Web Site Updates

Today I added a new Life magazine strip to gluyaswilliams.com. I've got several more cartoons from Life, Collier's and the New Yorker in the pipeline, so you'll see those when I get a chance to scan everything.
I also set up the doodle gallery portion of my cartooning site, reliablecomics.com. It's not firing on all cylinders just yet (still gotta make a graphic or two, and find more drawings), but there's stuff to look at if you've got a minute and don't mind some dead links and red X's instead of pictures.

"Composition"

This is a rough for a comic panel I was working on tonight. The comp is about two inches square, and the final will be about the same. I guess might I just as well use this for the finished strip, but I'm not going to. It's a guy standing on the porch of a diner at dusk.
Pencil and Sign Pen on 20lb bond.
