Supertrash: Venus In Furs Poster Redo

I did this for the Supertrash Film Fest / Art Show that's upcoming on February 1-3 in Portland, Ore. I'm not sure if they automatically accept whatever's sent in or if it's juried somehow, but we'll see. Pals Tom Neely, Chris Cilla, Alex Holden and Jim Rugg have also done one, probably others I don't know about.

Anyway, I did Venus in Furs, a terrible movie from the late 60's about a horny jazz musician and a hot naked ghost(?) lady, and a hot jazz singer lady who never gets naked and three murderous jerks. Don't bother watching it.

This is also my excuse for not having a new weekly strip for today. Not the real reason, but it's good enough. I may have a strip for tomorrow. Sorry!

Hello Mr. King:

This is a f-a-n-t-a-s-t-i-c poster! I've always been curious about the movie, but knowing Mr. Franco's reputation, or lack thereof, I've skipped it. I can probably fashion a much more interesting idea of it in my mind, after pondering the synopsis for a few minutes. Anyway, is there a chance that this poster would be available for purchase anywhere?

Cheers,
ryan

I hadn't imagined anyone would want to buy one. Plus I just finished it the other day. So, I guess it's not for sale. I suppose I could send you a PDF of it somehow. For real, let me know.

And did you see the other ones I linked to? good stuff...

I appreciate the nice comment; thanks for looking!

Well, if you or someone else ever does a print run of it, put me down for one. I did check the other one's out, and loved them-- especially the one for 'Lifeforce.' I'm cursing the winds for missing out on entering something myself-- it looks like the call for submissions just closed last week!

Glad to have your blog on my radar.

Cheers,
ryan
